Deep Magma Bog Search Party Complete Quest Guide And Location
Super Mario Bros. Wonder introduces players to various challenging hidden puzzles, and the Search Party level titled Item Park in World 6 stands out as a true test of exploration. Located deep within the fiery zone known as the Deep Magma Bog, this special quest tasks players with finding five hidden Wonder Tokens scattered across a single puzzle arena. To uncover every single collectible, adventurers must intelligently utilize a variety of power-ups provided at the start of the level, making it a highly creative addition to the platforming adventure.
Finding the Exact Map Location
To begin this token-hunting quest, players must navigate to the first lower level on the left side of the main castle area within World 6. The level becomes accessible shortly after finishing the initial observatory challenge in the volcanic zone. Upon entering the stage, players will find a selection of power-ups including the Elephant Fruit, Drill Mushroom, and Bubble Flower, all of which are required to crack the stage's puzzles.
Keep in mind that choosing the right character matters before stepping into this zone, as certain characters cannot use power-ups. Since Yoshis and Nabbit are unable to transform, they cannot interact with the puzzle elements necessary to finish the level. Bringing a standard character like Mario or Luigi ensures you can swap forms freely to hit hidden triggers.
Uncovering the First Three Wonder Tokens
The hunt begins immediately at the entrance, where you must equip the Elephant Fruit to smash through a wall of bricks blocking the path. Once inside, move toward the upper middle section and execute an Elephant trunk swing on the question-mark blocks to reveal a hidden vine that climbs up to the first token. For the next token, use the Elephant form again to hit a giant spike ball, rolling it up an incline to break another wall revealing your prize.
To obtain the third token, you will need to switch out your elephant form for the Drill Mushroom ability. Head up to the central platforming section, jump from the stacked question-mark blocks to hit a hidden block, and then burrow straight into the ceiling. Tunneling left while inside the ceiling will safely lead you directly into the third hidden token.
Tracking Down the Remaining Hidden Tokens
The fourth token requires players to demonstrate their combat prowess using the Bubble Flower power-up located on the right side of the arena. Ascend the platforming ledges on the right wall where three Cheep Cheeps are floating around in mid-air. Defeating all three of these fish enemies with bubble attacks will instantly trigger the fourth Wonder Token to materialize.
The fifth and final token requires another clever use of the Drill Mushroom form on the rightmost section of the stage. Wait for the moving platforms to shift, then burrow into the middle platform as it moves upward against the right wall. Tunneling directly into the right wall from this elevated position opens up a secret room containing the last token needed to generate the Wonder Seed.
